Before you purchase your home
Straightforward pricing: We’ll give you complete certainty, so even before you reserve a plot you’ll know what fees, deposits and cost of any extras are likely to be.
Regular communication: Courteous updates as your new home progresses so you’ll always know what’s happening.
As an independent builder we aim to build the best houses we can, not the most houses. We want you to be thoroughly delighted with your new Carmichael Home. That’s why before you buy you’ll receive a copy of our Aftercare Policy.
And, from the moment you move in, you’ll have access to a dedicated member of our Customer Care team who will be on hand to answer your queries from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
12 week snagging check
At 12 weeks, we’ll arrange a meeting, or you can send us an email list of any snagging items or defects you’d like us to review and agree. We’ll then come back to you as soon as possible with a plan of action. It’s our aim to put snagging right as soon as possible, however this can depend on availability of materials. If, for any reason, there's a delay you’ll be kept fully informed throughout.
All kitchen appliances come with 2 years’ manufacturers warranty. Simply complete and return the various warranty registrations when you move in. You should contact the manufacturer directly if you have any issues with your appliances.
10 year building warranty
All Carmichael Homes are covered by Building Warranty protection should there be any unforeseen damage caused by structural defects to the property. The details of this warranty will be given to your solicitor or legal representative at point of purchase.
Carmichael Homes follows the Consumer Code for Home Builders, an industry-wide code of best practices and good conduct designed to make the home buying process fair and transparent. It makes your rights clear, and should a problem arise, gives you a free, independent and speedy resolution scheme if you feel we’ve breached the code. We offer a copy to all buyers, and you can also find full details on the Consumer Code website.
